PE and Sport Premium
Welcome to our P.E. and Sports Premium Funding Page
P.E. is an integral part of our curriculum here at Tonacliffe. We ensure that all children take part in two, one hour sessions of P.E. each week (including swimming). As well as this, we are striving to ensure that all children take part in thirty minutes of physical activity every day. We understand how P.E. and physical activity aid health (including mental health) and well-being. Our teachers are role models, ensuring that all children understand how important physical activity is.
All children must come ready for P.E. in their P.E. uniform on their allocated P.E. days:
P.E. Kit Year One to Year Six
- Plain black sweatshirt (no hoodies)
- Plain black jogging bottoms/ plain black tracksuit bottoms/ plain black leggings/ plain black shorts
- Royal blue polo shirt
- Black/ white trainers
- No branded garments.
Children must also remove earrings or bring plasters to cover them. Children must tie up long hair for P.E. lessons. No jewellery is allowed.
Children who are swimming need:
- Swimming costume or trunks
- Towel
- Swimming cap
Children must also remove earrings for swimming - plasters are not allowed. No jewellery is allowed.
