Uniform Policy

The uniform policy is as follows and must be adhered to.

Please note that on the days when your child has P.E. they will come to school in their P.E. kits. Your child’s class teacher will inform you of when their P.E. days are.

Reception Class Uniform

Royal blue jumper/cardigan/fleece

Royal blue polo shirt

Black jogging bottoms/leggings/ shorts

Black/white trainers

Reception Outdoors Kit

All-in one waterproofs or

waterproof pants and waterproof coat

Wellingtons

Wellington socks

Year One – Year Six Class Uniform

Royal blue jumper/cardigan/fleece

Royal blue/ white polo shirt

Grey pants/ shorts/ pinafore/ skirt

(Blue and white summer dress)

Black/ grey/ white socks

Black/ grey tights

Black shoes

Outerwear appropriate for the weather

Year One – Year Six P.E. Kit

Plain black sweatshirt (no hoodies)

Plain black jogging bottoms/ plain black tracksuit bottoms/ plain black

leggings/ plain black shorts

Royal blue polo shirt

Black/ white trainers

N.B. No branded garments

Earrings must be taken out or covered with plasters for P.E. lessons

Earrings must be removed for swimming lessons

It is not necessary to wear sweatshirts or polo shirts bearing the school logo. However, if you wish your child to wear these, they can be bought at Monkhouse Top Form and Moses School Wear, both on Drake Street, Rochdale, Ann’s on 5a Union Street in Bacup or online at https://anns-schoolwear.co.uk and also online at https://myclothing.com

All other items of school uniform are widely available in a variety of shops and supermarkets.

Children with long hair must wear this tied up for safety reasons. Children can wear sensible blue, white or black bobbles, headbands and/or clips (no fashion items).

As always with uniform, please ensure that all items of clothing are clearly labelled with your child’s name. School will not take responsibility for lost uniform.
